Program Description
The Engineering Management program equips students with tools and methodologies needed to manage complexity.
The Department of Systems and Enterprises' Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Engineering Management program equips engineers, technical managers, business operations professionals and others with the skills, tools and methodologies needed to effectively manage complexity across industries.
Designed at the intersection of engineering, management and technology, the M.Eng. in Engineering Management provides students with a strong understanding of the technology involved in engineering projects and the management process — during which the technology is used.
Students can expect a program with a strong engineering core with training in quality management, project management, production and technology management, accounting, cost analysis, managerial economics, engineering design, and systems integration to fill in the gaps in engineering and science education. Our program’s emphasis on real-world applications and hands-on learning prepares graduates to keep an organization running efficiently, cost-effectively and, importantly, ahead of its competitors.
Upon completion of this degree, students advance to professional positions of increasing responsibility across a broad range of industries such as business, finance, healthcare, software and technology.
