Overview
Accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer.
This is a one-year course, taught at University Centre Somerset, Brooklands Technical College and Wiltshire College and University Centre, enabling a student from a foundation degree to obtain a BEng (Hons) in Motorsport Technology.
A distinguishing feature of this course is its practical and applied motorsport emphasis, which it derives from industries local to the University and the expertise of the staff. Graduates of the course should be able to work effectively in industry as part of design, development or research teams with the skills necessary to turn concepts into drawings and through to the manufacturing and assembly processes.

How and When to Pay
- Tuition fee instalments for the semester are due by the Monday of week 1 of each semester.
- Students are not liable for full fees for that semester if they leave before week 4. If the leaving date is after week 4, full fees for the semester are payable.

How to Apply
Entry Requirements
- Specific entry requirements: Foundation Degree (Engineering) in Motorsport Engineering from Brooklands College. Foundation Degrees from other Universities or Colleges will be admitted if their modules are equivalent.
- Selection process: All students applying for this course will be interviewed by the Programme Lead at the College to see if their Foundation Degree is equivalent to the Foundation Degree at the College.
- English language requirements: Please see the University's standard English language requirements.
- English requirements for visas: If you need a student visa to enter the UK you will need to meet the UK Visas and Immigration minimum language requirements as well as the University's requirements.
