Overview
The Foundation Degree in Business and Management Practice provides a practical business education programme for those who wish to study at Higher Education level in their local area. Designed in cooperation with and supported by employers, the course has a strong focus on employability skills appropriate to the workplace and you can continue in employment whilst studying.
You will have the opportunity to progress to the BA (Hons) Business and Management Practice Level 6 ‘Top-Up’ final year at either at Abingdon & Witney College or to the BA (Hons) Business and Management final year at Oxford Brookes University.

The following factors will be taken into account by the University when it is setting the annual fees: inflationary measures such as the retail price indices, projected increases in University costs, changes in the level of funding received from Government sources, admissions statistics and access considerations including the availability of student support.
How and When to Pay
Tuition fee instalments for the semester are due by the Monday of week 1 of each semester. Students are not liable for full fees for that semester if they leave before week 4. If the leaving date is after week 4, full fees for the semester are payable.

How to Apply
Entry Requirements
- Entrants to the Foundation Degree programme should normally meet one of the following sets of requirements:
- Three passes at GCSE (grades A – C) or O-level (grades A – C), normally including Mathematics and English Language or equivalents.
- PLUS (a) a minimum of one pass at A-Level or 6-unit Vocational A-Level; or (b) a National Certificate or Diploma or other equivalent qualification; or (c) exceptionally, demonstration through an extended CV, references and interview that they have the knowledge and abilities possessed by holders of the above Level 3 qualifications.

English Language Requirements
- Applicants whose first language is not English must also demonstrate that their level of English is acceptable, by achieving a score in a recognised test such as British Council IELTS; normally minimum level 6.0 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in the reading and writing components and 5.5 in listening and speaking.

Credit Transfer
Many of our courses consider applications for entry with credit for prior learning. Each application is individually assessed by our credit entry tutors.
