Overview

The Education Studies program at Oxford Brookes University is designed to help students develop a deep understanding of the world of education, from conception to early adulthood. The program focuses on the critical and analytical skills needed to succeed in a career supporting learning inside or outside of the classroom.

Course Details

Course Structure

The program is divided into three years, with each year focusing on different aspects of education.

• Year 1: Human development from birth, education from the Middle Ages to today, and nurturing and inclusivity.
• Year 2: Contemporary issues and the psychology of education.
• Year 3: Dissertation and key ideas in education.
