MASTER'S COURSE IN INTERNATIONAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Overview

The Master's course in International Entrepreneurship is a consecutive master's program in International Business that focuses on the topic of founding a business. The program is taught in English and offers students the chance to fast-track their studies and gain a master's degree in just 18 months.

Program Structure

The program consists of three semesters:

• Semester 1: Students spend the first two semesters on the MBS campus in Munich, engaging in seminar-like lectures, creative workshops, and entrepreneurship-focused case studies.
• Semester 2: Students continue their studies on the MBS campus, deepening their knowledge in specific areas of international business.
• Semester 3: Students spend the third semester abroad at one of Munich Business School's 60 partner universities, acquiring international experiences and making contacts around the world.

Course Content

The program covers a range of topics, including:

• Developing a business idea using different creative and decision-making approaches
• Different types of entrepreneurship
• Developing entrepreneurial decision-making approaches
• Writing and evaluating a business plan
• Pitching a business plan authentically
• Factors in successful entrepreneurship
• Management challenges and corresponding approaches to find solutions

Admission Requirements

• Academic requirements: Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree (180 ECTS or over) to enroll on the master's program in International Business.
• Linguistic requirements: Applicants must proof their English language skills by passing one of the following language tests:
  • TOEFL iBT & Home Edition: min. 85 (min. of 22 in writing band, min. of 20 in all other bands; MBS TOEFL Institution Code: 5772)
  • IELTS & IELTS Online: min. level of 6.5– Academic Module
  • ELS English for Academic Purposes: Advanced Level 112
  • Duolingo English Test: Overall Score 115 or higher
  • Pearson PTE Academic: Overall Score 56 or higher
  • Cambridge: B2 First (formerly known as Cambridge English: First (FCE)) or higher
