EARLY ENTRY 2025

Basair Aviation College is offering Year 12 students the opportunity to secure a spot ahead of the main round of offers. This early entry scheme is designed to provide you with confidence as you approach your final exams.

Key Dates

• Applications open: 1st June 2024
• Applications close: 31st July 2024
• Acceptance close: 31st August 2024
• Pilot Aptitude Assessment Completed by: 30th September 2024

How to Apply

• We want to know more about you! In your application, you will be asked to provide details and answer a few questions.
• The Early entry application form is a fillable form and can be downloaded.
• You can either fill the form online and send it, or, print the form, fill it by hand and send it.
• A recommendation from your school is optional, but it can help your application. Recommendations must be provided as a PDF on school letterhead and signed by the appropriate authority.
• Your application must be submitted by the 31st July 2024
• You will receive an email outcome of your conditional offer.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does ‘Conditional Early Offer’ mean?

• All offers are conditional to meeting the pre-requisite requirements of our course.
• The pre-requisites are:
  • Student has passed the Pilot Aptitude Screening Process and been made a firm offer of a place in the course.
  • Student holds a class 1 Medical
  • Student has completed year 12 higher school exams and met the requirements to be eligible for a higher school certificate.
  • Student holds an Aviation Security Identity Card (ASIC)
  • Student has supplied a Unique Student Identification (USI) number

I have received an Early Offer, what now?

• Applicants are advised to accept their offer as soon as they receive it or by the due date to risk losing their place on the course.
• Please note that accepting your offer will hold your place until enrolments open. The only way to truly secure your place is to enrol.

If I accept an Early Offer, can I change my mind?

• Yes, you can. Get in touch with the Admissions team to discuss changes to your enrolment.
