Your Pathway to Adelaide University
The Diploma of Business Studies is a comprehensive two-stage program designed to prepare you for success in a wide range of degrees at Adelaide University, launching in 2026.
The Diploma of Business Studies offers a flexible pathway:
- Begin the Two-Stage Diploma directly from Australian Year 11 (or equivalent).
- Alternatively, start Stage 2 if you’ve completed Australian Year 12 (or equivalent).
What Will You Be Studying?
This two-stage program is designed to prepare you for success:
- Stage 1: 2 or 3 trimesters.
- Stage 2: An additional 2 or 3 trimesters. Together, the total program spans 4 to 6 trimesters, tailored to your academic progress.
In Stage 2, you’ll cover the same material as first-year university students, ensuring a seamless transition to higher education. By successfully completing the Diploma of Business Studies at Eynesbury College, you’ll gain direct entry into the second year of a range of bachelor’s degrees at Adelaide University.
Entry Requirements
To join the Diploma of Business Studies program, you’ll need to meet the following criteria:
- Stage 1: Completion of Australian Year 11, or an equivalent qualification.
- Stage 2: Completion of Australian Year 12, or an equivalent qualification.
- English Language Proficiency: IELTS 5.5, with no individual band score below 5.0.

Additional Information
Classes: Classes run between 9am and 5.30pm on weekdays (Adelaide time zone, ACST). You can expect between 4-6 hours of private study per module, per week.
Mode of Study: Programs are delivered through a variety of modes, not excluding online studies.
