Program Overview

Pharmaceutical Sciences, B.S.

College of Pharmacy

Pre-pharmacy students can opt to earn this bachelor's degree as you work toward your Doctor of Pharmacy. The bachelor's degree is awarded at the end of the second professional year of pharmacy school.

This degree is available only to USC Pharm.D. students who have completed pre-pharmacy coursework and the first two years of the professional program, as well as all Carolina Core requirements. It combines core and laboratory-based coursework to prepare you to be a well-rounded, well-educated scientist. You cannot practice pharmacy or care for patients in the U.S. with this degree.

What You’ll Study
