Transferable skills are developed through engagement with, and completion of tasks in the academic and clinical curriculum. Interprofessional learning, group activities, practical skills development using simulation, and problem-based approaches in the academic environment will be supplemented and enhanced by clinical placement experience as part of a blended learning approach.

The course is taught using a variety of methods; lectures, seminars, workshops, tutorials, presentations and observational placement.

Assessments are via written final exams, in class course work, OSCEs and Vivas.

For each 20 credit module students should be expected to undertake 200 hours of learning.
