• This course is assessed based on an independent project focusing on a current issue in public health.
• Project requirements:
  • Organisation selection: Choose an organisation you know or one with accessible public or academic information.
  • Project proposal: Outline the significance and relevance of your research to the chosen organisation or sector.
  • Ethics approval: Start the ethics approval process early if your project involves primary data collection.
  • Final report: Present the completed report as an industry-related document, suitable for the management or executive team.

• Each student will be assigned a supervisor to guide them from the conception of the project idea to the submission of the final report.

Entry requirements

• To be eligible for our MSc Health and Care Management (Top-Up), you should have:
  • 120 credits at postgraduate level in a relevant discipline(s) or Senior Leader Apprenticeship, Level 7, UK IfATE ST0480.
• English proficiency:
  • IELTS 6.5 (no less than 6.0 in any element); or TOEFL iBT 90; or equivalent
  • Alternatively, evidence you have previously studied in English, such as a letter to show that the Medium of Instruction was in English, can be accepted.
