Program Overview
Department of Civil Engineering
About the Department
Civil engineering, one of the oldest engineering branches, has become increasingly important due to the effects of technological advancements, rapid population growth, and urbanization. As a result, the education of civil engineering has undergone significant changes in terms of methods, instruments, and quality. Today, civil engineering is a branch of science that relies heavily on computer usage to solve physical problems.
The Civil Engineering Department of İstanbul Bilgi University is located in the santral istanbul campus (Eyüp), which is considered one of the most beautiful campuses in İstanbul. The department is proud to be part of the oldest branch in engineering, with a rich history dating back to the Ottoman period.
