MA in Organizational Psychology

About the Program

The Industrial and Organizational Psychology Master Program at Istanbul Bilgi University aims to train experts in an area gaining recognition in Turkey. The program has two pathways: with Thesis or with Project, both providing options to specialize in organizational and industrial psychology.

Program Structure

Academic courses are structured on major competence domains that an organizational and industrial psychologist should have. Common competence domains for both pathways include:

• Consulting skills
• Quantitative research methods and statistics, including the use of SPSS statistics program
• Qualitative research methods, including the use of MAXQDA qualitative data analysis program

Industrial psychology has specific competence domains related to major human resources management functions. Organizational psychology focuses on the cognitive and emotional background of human behavior at work.
