Overview

The University of Exeter's Geography department offers a range of research degrees, including MPhil/PhD, MSc by Research, and PhD Sustainable Futures. The department is part of two interdisciplinary institutes: the Global Systems Institute (GSI) and the Environment and Sustainability Institute (ESI).

Research Overview

The department's research is established around five groups in human geography and one group in physical geography. Human geography research groups include:
