MSc Clinical Education
Overview
The MSc Clinical Education is a postgraduate program designed for healthcare professionals who wish to develop their roles as clinical educators. The program is suitable for individuals from a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds, including medical researchers, academic clinical fellows, nurses, allied healthcare professionals, public health professionals, and doctors.
Entry Requirements
- Normally a minimum 2.2 Honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
- A personal statement, detailing reasons for seeking to undertake this subject, is required.
- Relevant clinical or professional experience may be taken into consideration as evidence of equivalency.
Accreditation of Prior Learning
Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) is a process whereby students, who have already gained relevant skills and knowledge prior to the start of their course, may be granted a partial credit exemption from their program instead of unnecessarily repeating work.
Course Content
The program is divided into units of study called ‘modules’ which are assigned a number of ‘credits’. To gain a Masters qualification, students need to complete 180 credits at level 7.
