About Program
Program Overview
Natural Sciences with International Study BSc
Overview
The Natural Sciences with International Study BSc is a four-year degree program that allows students to study more than one science subject for the duration of their degree. The program is designed to cultivate interdisciplinary skills, learning to approach problems from multiple angles, connect ideas, and communicate effectively across disciplines.
Course Structure
- Year One: Students study equal amounts of three subjects from their chosen stream, gaining fundamental understanding of these disciplines alongside relevant practical and academic skills.
- Year Two: Students choose any two of their first-year subjects to study in greater depth, with opportunities to direct their study to the areas that interest them through specialisms and optional modules.
- Year Abroad: Students spend the year overseas at one of our partner institutions, gaining a different perspective of their studies while experiencing life and studying in another country.
- Year Four: Students return to complete their fourth year at Nottingham, continuing to study their two chosen subjects at a more advanced level, with increased flexibility through optional modules.
Entry Requirements
- A-Levels: A*AA, with at least two science subjects from Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics or Further Mathematics, Geology, Geography, Environmental Science, and Psychology.
