Overview
Civil engineering combines creativity with technological and scientific knowledge to change the world. This degree will teach you how to design and manage high-profile projects, studying the key components of civil engineering theory and learning the skills necessary to become a civil engineer.

Entry Requirements
- A Level: AAA
- IB Score: 34 points overall or 666 in 3 HL certificates
- GCSE English: Grade 4 (C)
- Required Subjects: Mathematics grade A at A Level and one from physics (preferred), economics, psychology, 3D design, chemistry, biology, design and technology, geography, geology, computing, computer science or further maths
- Excluded Subjects: General studies, critical thinking and citizenship studies, global perspectives and research, thinking skills are not accepted
Alternative Qualifications
- Access to HE Diploma: 36 Level 3 credits at Distinction (to include a minimum of 15 Level 3 credits at Distinction in Mathematics and 15 Level 3 credits at Distinctions in Engineering/Science units) and 9 Level 3 credits at Merit
- RQF BTEC Nationals: D*DD + A in A Level Maths (for those considered for year one entry)
