Program Overview

The Bachelor of Archaeology & Cultural Heritage program at the College of Archeology & Cultural Heritage-South Valley, AASTMT, aims to cultivate a new generation of archaeologists equipped with the knowledge, skills, and practical experiences necessary for successful careers in the field. The program emphasizes a comprehensive understanding of Egyptian archaeology and material culture conservation.

• Satellite image interpretation and mapping skills

• Data standards for Historic Environment Record system

• Threat assessment
• Online database use
• Spatial analysis and cultural heritage management

The College is negotiating a dual bachelor’s degree program in archaeology and cultural heritage with the University of Cologne, pending approval from the Supreme Council of Education.
