Program Overview


The Maritime Transport Technology Department offers a comprehensive program designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for successful careers in the maritime industry. The program focuses on providing a strong foundation in nautical studies and specialized training in maritime transport technology.

The full program comprises 8 semesters. The first four academic semesters are in Basic Nautical Studies, followed by two guided Sea-Training Semesters (third year), and then two semesters (7th and 8th) in the Maritime Transport departments. The curriculum adheres to the STCW convention, 1978, as amended, and IMO Model Courses, ensuring graduates are competent Deck Officers.
