Course Summary
This course prepares students to register as occupational therapists, with an initial foundation year to prepare for the course. Students will learn to assist people facing trauma, disability, and illness to achieve independence.

Future Careers
Upon full completion of the course, students will have the opportunity to show their eligibility to apply for registration with Health and Care Professions Council, allowing them to practise as an occupational therapist. Previous graduates have gone on to work in various healthcare settings, including the NHS, local authority social services, extended scope areas, schools, private practices, charities, and other health and social care environments.
