This BSc (Honours) Paramedic Science course is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to become a paramedic. The course is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and endorsed by the College of Paramedics.

Entry Requirements

  • UCAS Points: 128
  • GCSEs: Science at grade C or 4 or equivalents, Maths at grade C or 4 or equivalents, and English Language or Literature at grade C or 4 or equivalents
  • A Levels: ABB, including relevant subject(s)
  • BTEC Extended Diploma: DDM, including relevant subject(s)
  • T Level: Distinction overall from a T level qualification
  • Access to HE Diploma: From a QAA recognised Access to HE course in health studies, health science, nursing or another science-based course
  • International Students: IELTS score of 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in all skills, or equivalent

  • Home Students: £9,535 per year (2025/26)
  • International Students: £18,655 per year (2025/26), including an annual placement supplement of £1,500
  • NHS Learning Support Fund: Non-repayable training grant of £5,000 per year to all eligible new and current pre-registration students
