LLM International Sports Law in Practice

Course Summary

This online course provides students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to effectively advise and represent clients in complex sport-related disputes. The course focuses on the practice and procedure before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), FIFA's Football Tribunal, the National Anti-Doping Panel in the UK, and other disciplinary courts and tribunals.

Students learn through a combination of lectures, guided reading, seminars, peer support and reflection, workshops, student presentations, independent learning, and reflection and evaluation. The course also provides opportunities for formative assessment and feedback.

Entry Requirements

  • A 2:2 degree or above in Law, Business, Sports Science, or a related degree
  • Relevant work experience will be considered
  • Two satisfactory references
  • IELTS 6.5 score with a minimum of 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in all other skill areas or equivalent
