Overview
The Fashion Design (BA) program at the University of Southampton is a three-year undergraduate degree that aims to develop students' skills and knowledge in fashion design, with a focus on sustainability, creativity, and innovation.
Entry Requirements
Academic Year 2025/26
- A-levels: BBB, including an art, design, or fashion-based subject
- International Baccalaureate Diploma: Pass, with 30 points overall, including 15 points at Higher Level in an art, design, or fashion-based subject
- BTEC: Distinction, Distinction, Merit in the BTEC National Extended Diploma in an art, design, or fashion-based subject
- Access to HE Diploma: 60 credits, with a minimum of 45 credits at Level 3, including 24 credits at Distinction and 21 credits at Merit in an art, design, or fashion-based subject
- Irish Leaving Certificate: H2 H2 H3 H3 H3 H3, including an art, design, or fashion-based subject
- Scottish Qualification: Offers will be based on exams taken at the end of S6, with careful consideration given to individual academic achievement and context
- Cambridge Pre-U: M2 M2 M2, including an art, design, or fashion-based subject
- Welsh Baccalaureate: BBB from 3 A levels, including an art, design, or fashion-based subject, or BB from 2 A levels, including an art, design, or fashion-based subject, and B from the Advanced Welsh Baccalaureate Skills Challenge Certificate
Additional Requirements
- All applicants must provide a portfolio of art work
- GCSE English language (or GCSE English) and mathematics, minimum grade 4/C
- English language requirements: IELTS overall score 6.5, with 6.0 in reading, writing, speaking, and listening
