International Nursing License Preparation
Overview
This program is intended for internationally educated nurses (IENs) who have an International Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Bachelor of Nursing degree and who are seeking the opportunity for further preparation to apply to the College of Nurses of Ontario for regulatory licensing. In accordance with the Professional Standards for Registered Nurses in Ontario, students will learn to provide safe, ethical, competent care for a diverse client population in the province of Ontario as a member of the health care team.
Admission Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing education program.
- Registered in their current home state or country i.e. letter, membership card etc. and are able to practice.
- Applicants must submit a current letter from an employer's human resource department verifying employment as a nurse.
- If English is not your first language you must provide proof of English competency.
