Plumber Apprenticeship

Overview

Obtain your practical training for the in-school component of this apprenticeship in Canadore’s industry-relevant labs. You will acquire a variety of trade-specific skills including knowledge of the Ontario Building Code requirements as well as installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems.

Program Structure

• Level 1: one day a week for 40 weeks, totaling 240 hours
• Level 2: one day a week for 40 weeks, totaling 240 hours
• Level 3: one day a week for 40 weeks, totaling 240 hours

• PBA115: Trade Calculations - Level 1
• PBA120: Trade Documentation - Level 1
• PBA125: Welding - Level 1

Semester 2

• PBA200: Plumbing Systems - Level 2
• PBA205: DWV Piping Systems
• PBA210: Trade Calculations - Level 2
• PBA215: Trade Documentation - Level 2
• PBA225: Welding - Level 2

Semester 3

• PBA300: Plumbing Systems - Level 3
• PBA305: Process Piping Systems
• PBA315: Trade Documentation - Level 3

Admission Requirements

You must be a signed apprentice with the Ministry of Labour, Training, and Skills Development to be eligible to take these programs.
