Railway Car Technician Apprenticeship

Overview

Canadore College is the only college in the province of Ontario to offer this program. Canadore College was integral in the development of this program in conjunction with stakeholders and leaders within this industry.

Length of Study

• 3 Levels
• Each level is an 8-week block, 30 hours per week for a total of 240 hours

Notes

• Upon completion, successful students are eligible to challenge the Ontario Certificate of Qualification

What You Learn

• Personal and Workplace Safety
• Invasive and non-invasive diagnostic techniques
• Related computer operations for diagnostic purposes
• Interpreting government regulations

Admissions Requirements

• You must be a signed apprentice with the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development to be eligible to take these programs
