Program Overview

Gas Technician Training Center

Overview

The Gas Technician Training Programs, developed by the joint Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) and industry training and certification task forces, has been adopted as the minimum standard for the training and certification of gas technicians in the Province of Ontario. As a TSSA accredited and registered training provider, Canadore College is equipped to deliver both the Gas Technician 3 (G3) and Gas Technician 2 (G2) certification programs.

Become a certified gas technician through a combination of distance learning and in-person practical training. Located at the Commerce Court campus in North Bay, ON, our fully equipped training lab provides a space to learn hands-on, industry-specific skills that meet the licensing requirements of the TSSA for gas technicians.
