Program Overview


Personal Finance

Overview

This course introduces students to the factors that influence personal and societal finances. Through an understanding of basic principles, vocabulary, and concepts, students adjust to changing situations by recognizing the ways that new practices or trends affect personal finance. Students recognize and understand personal values, how they change throughout the lifecycle, and how they influence financial decisions.


Admission Requirements

You may enroll in a Continuing Education course at Canadore College if you are 19 years of age or older or if you have earned an Ontario Secondary School Diploma/Ontario Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent.
