BLMT120 Building Maintenance Level 3

Further experience with tools and practices introduced in BLMT 100 – Building Maintenance Level 1 and BLMT 110 – Building Maintenance Level 2 is given, always incorporating safe work practices and skills developed in the two previous levels. Learners will apply federal, provincial and local building codes and bylaws, and identify fire and safety systems. Learners will perform budget calculations, materials estimating and costing as well as conduct home owner/tenant orientations and liaise with officials and inspectors.
