EDAS143 Personal Care
(3.0 credits)
This course introduces the most common health conditions among children in primary and secondary education in Canada. It critically reflects on the role of the Education Assistant in assisting these children by promoting independence and inclusion, and by providing personal care.
Restrictions
- Must be in the Education Assistant Program (EDAS1, EDAS2, or EDAS...X60)
- Other Prerequisites: Criminal Record Check Schedule B works with "children" or works with "children and vulnerable adults." Admission to the Early Education Assistant Certificate or Diploma Program or Human Services Advanced Professional Development Program.
