PALE200 Introduction to Palaeontology in British Columbia
Course Description
This course provides a basic introduction to the palaeontological heritage of British Columbia. After a brief introduction to geological time and regional geology, special emphasis is placed on locations within British Columbia that have unique paleontological significance and are of scientific and educational interest. Lastly, the legalities and ethics around collecting and selling of our fossil heritage are covered. Students can expect field trips.

- GEOG 112
- One of: Biology 11, Life Sciences 11, BIOL 102, or BIOL 127
