Program Overview
SSWD220 Practicum and Seminar
Course Description
Students will demonstrate human service worker competency in knowledge, skills, and values through the integration of seminar concepts in a practicum setting. During the practicum placement, students will develop and apply their skills as helping professionals by directly engaging in supervised practice work. Individualized learning goals and objectives will be developed to suit the students' personal interests and learning needs.

- SSWD 120
Restrictions
- Must be in Social Services Worker Diploma Program (SSWD2)
- Or permission of the Chair
- Students must have a minimum program cumulative GPA of 2.33 (C+) to register for SSWD-220
- Students must have a current CRC filed with the Registrar's Office
