Overview
WTMT151 Practicum is a 6-week program that provides students with hands-on experience in the field of Wind Turbine Maintenance. The program is designed to expose students to operating terminology and involve them in the daily routine and duties performed by a Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician.
Prerequisites
- WTMT 150
- Must be in the Wind Turbine Advanced Certificate Program (WTMT1.AC)
- Admission to the Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician program
Practicum Hours
- 200 contact hours
Program Details
During the practicum, students will be placed in a 6-week work experience where they will be exposed to operating terminology and become involved with the daily routine and duties performed by a Wind Turbine Maintenance Technician. Employers will be requested to provide a variety of tasks that are aligned with each student’s learning objectives.
