- Sound Engineering (3 hrs)
- Introductory exploration and practice in sound engineering. Concepts in sound physics and acoustics are demonstrated and explored within a variety of audio production techniques and studio workflows, facilitating collaborative creative engagement in sound and music media.
- Fundamentals of Digital Audio Workstations (3 hrs)
- Project-based learning of basic to intermediate-level techniques in audio, MIDI, and audio-visual production using industry-standard software applications.
- Commercial Music Capstone (3 hrs)
- Senior Commercial Music Capstone project.
- Music Business and Entrepreneurship (3 hrs)
- Provides students with a hands-on experience in planning and launching a musical venture. Upon completion, students will have compiled a professional portfolio, created or improved their own web sites, and will have implemented a plan of action for a music business plan based on their specific interests and needs.
