The Certificate in Business has been developed to provide an initial qualification for students aiming to embark on a career in a wide range of business/industries, and for students who are seeking to further their education in the fields associated with Management.

- Key software skills: Learn key analytical skills (data cleaning, analysis, & visualization) and tools (spreadsheets, Tableau)

Programme Structure
- Assessment method, graduation & awards:
- Students must take and successfully complete all modules to be awarded the LSBF Certificate in Business (Mandarin).
- Students must complete all modules; students who fail to do so will be given a statement of results.
- The assessment of each module consists of:
- Individual assignment or class test: 20%
- Class participation: 15%
- Class presentation or class test: 15%
- Examination: 50% (2 hours)
- Grade:
- Distinction: D (75-100%)
- Credit: C (55-74%)
- Pass: P (40-54%)
- Fail: F (0-39%)
- Attendance Requirement:
- STP holders: 90%
- Non-STP holders: 75%
- Teacher Student Ratio: 1:80

- Study Materials: Students will receive study materials after they have made full payment for their programme. Replacement of study materials is subject to additional charge.
- Student Portal: Students have access to the Student Portal. It is a useful site where the course information and learning materials are available for students’ easy reference.
- Accessible Faculty: Students may contact their lecturers directly via email outside the lecture hours for any academic related queries.
- Recorded Lectures: We will show compassion and care to all stakeholders as we believe the journey is as important as the outcome.
Eligibility
- Who can apply: Students who have the intention to further their study in Certificate level in Singapore, and who wish to develop a bilingual languages skill, competency and knowledge, to fulfil their future career development in a business context.
- Minimum Age & Academic Entry Requirement:
- Minimum Age Requirement: 16 years old.
- Local students shall possess one of the following:
- At least one pass in GCE ‘O’ Level
- NITEC or Higher NITEC; OR
- International Students shall possess one of the following:
- Completion of year 9 middle high school qualification or equivalent qualification from respective home countries
- Minimum Mandarin Language Entry Requirement:
- Achieved grade D7 or better in Chinese language at GCE O level.
- Pass in Chinese Language in Year 9 High School qualification or equivalent.
