The Higher Diploma in Advanced Technology and AI focuses on developing practical expertise in advanced technology, cloud AI, and big data management. With a strong emphasis on real-world applications, this program prepares students for diverse roles in fields such as data science, IT, marketing, logistics, finance, and beyond, positioning them for success in today's rapidly evolving job market.

Assessment, Graduation, and Award

Assessment methods may vary according to individual module requirements, and each module is assessed by:

• Continuous Assessment, Formative and Summative Assessments
• Any combination of class participation, group or individual applied assignments, tests or online quizzes, portfolio, practical examinations, and online written examinations
• Students may advance to attempt the AWS/PANW Certification examination and will be awarded a certificate meeting the AWS/PANW Educate Certification examination requirement.

Graduation requirements:

• Students must take and satisfactorily complete all modules to be awarded the LSBF Higher Diploma in Advanced Technology and AI.
• All students must complete all modules.
• Student must achieve an overall passing grade of 40%.
• Students who fail a module at the first attempt are permitted two (2) further opportunities to pass the module (resit), and failure of this retake will require students to sit the failed module(s) again in full prior to additional retake attempt.

Attendance Requirements

• International Students: 90%
• Local, PR, non-student pass: 75%

Eligibility

Local Students Entry Requirements

• Minimum Academic Requirement:
  • Two passes in GCE A Level Examinations, or
  • International Baccalaureate (24 points)
  • Local Polytechnic Diploma in any field
  • Completion of LSBF Diploma in Information Technology (applicants can apply to transfer any recognized prior learning credits by applying for Advanced Standing); or
  • Vocational Diploma in relevant field of study; or
  • Other equivalent qualifications
• Minimum English Language Requirement:
  • Achieved a grade C6 or better in English language O level, or
  • Pass in English Language in Year 10 High School qualification or equivalent.
  • IELTS 5.5/TOEFL 550
  • Completed LSBF Preparatory Course in English Upper Intermediate Level
• Minimum Age: 18 years old

International Students Entry Requirements

• Minimum Academic Requirement:
  • Completion of Year 12 High School Qualification or equivalent qualification from respective home countries
  • Completed International Baccalaureate (24 points)
  • Equivalent Local Polytechnic Diploma in any field in respective home countries
  • Completion of LSBF Diploma in Information Technology (applicants can apply to transfer any recognized prior learning credits by applying for Advanced Standing); or

Admission Process for Local Students

  • Local Students will go through pre-programme counselling with the Education Consultants who will explain the Programme details, Fee Protection Scheme, Refund Policy, Appeal procedures, and other important information.
• Step 2: Evaluation of Application
  • Education Consultants will submit all necessary documents to the Admissions department for evaluation of the application.
• Step 3: Payment
  • Payment of fees should be made in Singapore dollars via the following modes of payment:

• Step 4: Receipt, Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) Insurance & Confirmation of Registration

• Step 3: Acceptance of Offer
  • Education Consultants / Business Development Managers / LSBF’s approved Recruitment Agents will inform International Students that their application has been successful.
• Step 4: Application of Student Pass
  • Upon receipt of the signed Acceptance of Offer Letter and Application fee, LSBF will proceed to submit the Student Pass application via Singapore ICA **Student OnLine Application & Registration+****(SOLAR+) **system.
• Step 5: Payment
  • Payment of fees should be made in Singapore dollars via the following modes of payment:
    • Cash
    • NETS
    • Flywire
    • Cashier’s order
    • Debit/Credit Cards

    • Bank Draft
    • Telegraphic Transfer* (Bank charges to be borne by students)
• Step 6: Receipt, Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) Insurance & Confirmation of Registration

Admission Process for Transfer International Students

• Step 1: Application
  • Approach LSBF to apply for the desired programme to confirm your place at LSBF.
• Step 2: Application of Student Pass
  • Upon receipt of the signed Acceptance of Offer Letter and Application fee, LSBF will proceed to submit the Student Pass application via Singapore ICA **Student OnLine Application & Registration+****(SOLAR+) **system.
• Step 3: Receipt, Fee Protection Scheme (FPS) Insurance & Confirmation of Registration
  • LSBF’s friendly Education Consultants will inform you of your student pass transfer application outcome within 7-14 days.
  • Upon payments from International Students, LSBF will issue a receipt.
  • LSBF will also put in place the FPS Insurance for International Students to protect the fees paid to the School.
