Chemistry Certificate

The Chemistry Certificate at Florida Poly provides an opportunity for further study in the field of chemistry for all students seeking to broaden their background with advanced course work above the required CHM 2045 Chemistry 1 required in the STEM Core.

STEM Core

• CHM 2045 Chemistry 1 and CHM 2045L Chemistry 1 Lab - prerequisite to all chemistry certificate courses

Requirements

To receive the Chemistry Certificate, a student must successfully complete (C or better) chemistry 2 (lab optional) and three-upper division chemistry courses (12 credits total) in addition to Chemistry 1 and lab (from STEM core.)

• Students must have the necessary pre-requisites to take the required courses in the certificate program.
