Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)

Program Details

Format

The PharmD program is offered in an in-person format, with a start term in the fall.


Duration

The program is full-time and takes four years to complete.


Application

The application deadline is December 2 (priority) and June 2 (final). The application fee is $75, and applicants must submit a personal statement, resume, one letter of recommendation or contact information for one professional reference, and transcripts.


Cost

The tuition fee is $24,950 per term. 94% of students who enrolled in 2024 received scholarship support.


Integrated Curriculum

The PharmD curriculum is designed to prepare students to acquire knowledge and develop skills and attitudes to be competent and confident, practice-ready pharmacists.

The program introduces students to industry with a wide range of networking and coursework opportunities.


PharmD + Certificate

Along with a PharmD degree, KGI graduates receive a certificate in one of three areas: Medication Therapy Outcomes (MTO), Healthcare Management/Pharmacy Informatics (HCM/PI), or Medical and Clinical Affairs (MCA).


PharmD Curriculum

The PharmD curriculum is arranged into four categories: basic sciences, clinical skills, professional development, and experiential education. Students take courses that provide them with foundational content, exposure to emerging topics, as well as elective courses and rotations within the certificate program.
