Program Description

The three-day Pre-Pharmacy Enrichment Program (PrEP) is designed for prospective students interested in a career in pharmacy. Participants will explore the pharmacy profession through interactive classes and activities that will provide an introduction to pharmacy practice. Students will be introduced to the many career opportunities available in the field of pharmacy and exposed to ways pharmacists can impact patients’ lives beyond the traditional dispensing role.

Who Should Apply

The program is appropriate for motivated undergraduate students or high school seniors interested in applying to pharmacy school in the future. Eligible applicants include:

  • Undergraduate college students (enrolled in community college or four-year institutions)
  • Students who have completed their undergraduate degree but have not yet been admitted to a PharmD program
  • High school seniors
  • 15 seats in each session are reserved specifically for community college students. Please inquire about how KGI can help support you in your transition from community college to KGI’s Doctor of Pharmacy program.

Testimonial

I would like to encourage anyone in the future to apply to PrEP because it was amazing! There were passionate people and mentors who showcased all their knowledge. It was exciting and fun, and really informative.
