Award in Concepts and Practices of Strategy and Management Practice through Business Simulation

Description

The course is designed to provide participants with the knowledge and skills essential to deliver better written business reports. The skills to be covered include:

• The basics of simulations – what activities are to be simulated? What is the purpose of the simulation?
• Defining the context of simulation and identifying the key parameters of the simulation
• Business Game 1 – Participation in live sophisticated business strategy game where participants run a retail store
• Business Game 2 – Participation in live fantasy financial simulation, where participants manage a factory, invent products and build an industrial empire
• Business Game 3 – Participation in live simulation where participants run a trading company, cut deals and have to outwit their competitors
• Business Game 4 – Participation in live fantasy financial simulation, where participants manage a resort and are required to set-up and grow the facilities

Scholarship Schemes
