Description

This module focuses on the practical applications of business simulation games and identifies various strategies and tactics for businesses.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of the module/unit, the learner will have acquired the responsibility and autonomy to:

• Analyse the different components of a simulation and identify the core variables and parameters of the simulation.
• Define strategies and tactics to form the basis for participation in the simulation.
• Analyse the effectiveness of these strategies and tactics during their implementation and collect and analyse data that provides useful information as to how best to act at each successive stage of the simulation.

Assessment Methods

• Assignment / Case-Study – 1 (Contributes towards 60% of the module)
• Forum Discussions – 2 (Contributes towards 20% of the module)
• Tutorial Participation – 2 tutorial sessions (Contributes towards 20% of the module)
