Description

The module aims to advance students’ knowledge and understanding concerning patient-centred care and to develop new skills to a high level, demonstrating the ability to analyse and interpret effective patient-centred care. This considers patients’ preferences, desires, acknowledges, and respects their cultural background. Person-centred care generally refers to the whole person (going beyond the narrow focus on their symptoms and treatment), and it advocates a holistic approach to care, which requires acknowledgement of broader social, psychological, societal and cultural factors that may affect the individual and their healthcare journey. The course aims to provide students with the necessary skills to demonstrate self-direction and originality in solving problems and acting autonomously in planning and implementing tasks professionally.

3. Therapeutic Communication in PCC
4. Shared Decision-Making & EHR Integration
5. Interprofessional Collaboration & Team Dynamics
6. Evaluating PCC Outcomes & Quality Improvement
