Spanish Certificate

Overview

A student enrolled in a degree program at MSOE may also earn a certificate in Spanish. Upon completion of this course of study, students will have solid communication skills in Spanish and a strong understanding of Spanish, Latin American, and Latinx culture and history. Spanish is spoken by more than 559 million people globally. In the U.S. alone, more than 42 million use Spanish as their primary language of communication. With an additional 12 million bilingual speakers, the U.S. has the second largest population of Spanish speakers in the world. With such compelling numbers, a certificate in Spanish will open students the door to richer professional and personal experiences.
