Graduate Certificate in Fluid Power

Certificate Information

The Graduate Certificate in Fluid Power is designed for recent graduates and professionals interested in developing a specialization in fluid power systems. The certificate program prepares students to develop in-depth engineering skills in the fields of hydraulics and controls. The expected completion time of the certificate is two semesters, six credits per semester.


Upon completion of the certificate program, students will be able to:


  • Design and develop fluid power systems.
  • Analyze electrohydraulic components and systems.
  • Evaluate control strategies used in fluid power systems.

Admissions Requirements

  • Completed bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering or mechanical engineering.
  • Professionals with a bachelor's degree in other related disciplines and relevant industry experience in fluid power may be considered for admission.
