Overview

The Technology & Engineering Foundation Year at DIFC offers guaranteed access to leading universities worldwide. This intensive 7 to 9-month foundation course is designed to prepare international students for a place at a top university.

Who is the course for?

• International students who have completed their local high school qualification (or O-Level qualification)
• Students who have completed A-Levels, IB Diploma or equivalent, but do not meet the entry requirements for university admission
• Students who need to improve their English language before studying university in Ireland or UK
• Students who would like to keep their options open and receive full support with their university applications

Course details

• Start: September & January
• Location: In Campus
• Duration: 9 months (September intake) or 7 months (January intake)
• Fees: €16,600 plus registration
• Entry requirements:
  • Language: Have a minimum English level of 5.0 IELTS
  • Qualifications: Successfully completed high school examinations (e.g., SPM, WAEC, IGCSEs, and a range of local high school qualifications)
