Whether you are a graduate or diploma holder, this tailored programme is designed to give international students the academic skills, English language skills support and direct university connections they need to step confidently into masters level education in the UK or Ireland.

Your Direct Pathway to a Master’s Degree

At DIFC, we do more than prepare you – we help position you for success. Our Pre-Master’s Programme offers a structured academic route and tailored support, connecting you with a wide network of respected universities across the UK and Ireland. From application guidance to academic preparation, we give you the tools, clarity and confidence to pursue your chosen postgraduate degree with purpose and focus.

Are You Ready for a Master’s Degree But Facing Barriers?

Don’t Let Gaps in Your English Language or Study Skills Hold You Back

For many international students, the dream of progressing to a Master’s degree in the UK or Ireland can feel unattainable. You have already achieved so much by completing your undergraduate studies but the next step can feel daunting.

You might be wondering:

  • Will my degree be accepted by a UK or Irish university?
  • Do I have the right study skills to progress onto postgraduate education abroad?
  • Is my English good enough to succeed in a Master’s-level course?

While these concerns are valid and shared by thousands of students around the world, the good news is that you don’t have to face them alone.

Turning Obstacles Into Opportunities

At DIFC, we understand the challenges international students face and we have built our Pre-Master’s Programme specifically to help you overcome them. From boosting your academic skills and language confidence to helping you navigate university and visa systems, we are here to support you every step of the way to successful postgraduate study.

Where can you go after completing the Pre Master Programme at DIFC?

The NCUK Master’s Preparation qualification, which was previously called the Pre Master Programme (PMP), is a foundation course preparing you for university entrance at postgraduate level.

Our partner universities in Ireland and the UK recognise that the programme provides “added value” to Masters course applicants. NCUK guarantees students who successfully complete the Pre Master Programme can progress to a place on a postgraduate degree course in a chosen wide range of subject areas.

Our Pre-Master’s Programme gives international graduates the tools, support and opportunities they need to confidently transition into a Master’s level degree and build a future with excellent career prospects.

This process helps provide clarity and direction as you begin the Pre-Master’s Programme.

Admissions Are Determined by the University

Please note: While completing the programme strengthens your academic profile and supports your university application, it is important to note that final admission decisions for Master’s programmes are made by the universities themselves.
