The M.S. in FinTech at Menlo College is designed for students eager to advance their careers in the financial technology sector. The program combines academic mastery of finance, blockchain, AI, and digital banking with hands-on, real-world applications, ensuring students gain the expertise needed to lead in today’s fast-evolving tech-driven financial landscape.


STEM-Designation & OPT Benefits

The MSFT program will obtain STEM designation from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). To meet DHS requirements for STEM designation, programs must dedicate 50 percent of their credit hours to courses in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, a bar that these specialized programs meet easily.

Merit Scholarship

The Graduate Merit Scholarship at Menlo College MSFT program is a distinguished chance crafted to acknowledge and assist exceptional individuals aiming to advance their education. This scholarship commemorates scholastic distinction, remarkable accomplishments, and the potential to make significant contributions to the field of MSFT.


LOANS

Federal Direct Stafford Loan

Students admitted to Menlo College’s MSFT program who’ve completed their FAFSA application will be eligible for Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loans. Graduate students may borrow up to a maximum of $20,500 per academic year through the Federal Direct Loan program. The actual amount a student is eligible to borrow cannot exceed the program cost of attendance, minus any other assistance received.


Federal Graduate PLUS Loans

Students who have been admitted to Menlo College and completed their FAFSA application will also be eligible for a Federal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan offer as part of their financial aid package. The Graduate PLUS loan is based on creditworthiness, which is determined by the federal government.
