Program Overview

Become a Professional Mediator with a Conflict Resolution Degree

Conflict is everywhere. As a master’s student in conflict and mediation, you’ll learn how to resolve disagreements between people and organizations. You’ll study the full range of conflict from families to communities. Careers include Human Resources Specialist, Ombudsperson, Facilitator, Investigator, Researcher, Policy Analyst, Contract Negotiation Manager, Claims Adjuster and much more!

This program is offered fully online. Full-time students can complete the program in a little over 1-year. A 2-year, part-time option is available. Admissions are open for fall, spring, and summer start dates.

• Official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities in the United States.

Fully Online

Offered fully online combining synchronous class sessions and simulations through Zoom with online asynchronous instruction. Attend part-time or full-time. Taking one course at a time, you can finish the program in two years.

Conflict and mediation is an interdisciplinary field that involves certain legal skills and concepts. However, Roosevelt University does not seek or receive approval from the American Bar Association for the Master of Arts in Conflict & Mediation program. Roosevelt’s Paralegal Studies Program is the only program at Roosevelt that is approved by the American Bar Association.
