Join the Health Care Team as a Medical Technologist


Medical technologists perform tests on blood, tissues and body fluids to uncover life-saving medical information about patients. At Roosevelt, you’ll learn how to interpret test results and run medical equipment.


This program is available to all students on our Chicago campus, and will be offered at our Schaumburg campus for new incoming Transfer students beginning in Fall 2025.

Our affiliate, NorthShore University Health System Evanston, makes admission decisions for clinical training. To apply, you should have a 2.8 GPA overall and in prerequisite courses.


Sample Allied Health Courses

In your Roosevelt classes, you’ll learn how to perform specialized tests and analyze the results. Take courses in chemistry and biology and get clinical experience in subjects like:
