Entry Requirements

Malaysian Student

• SPM: Credits in 5 subjects
• O-level: Credits in 5 subjects
• UEC: 3Bs
• Others: Any other equivalent qualification recognised by the Malaysia Government, considered on a case-by-case basis

English Requirement

• MALAYSIAN ENGLISH ENTRY REQUIREMENT: Pass in SPM English
• RU ENGLISH REQUIREMENTS: MUET: Band 3, GCE O Level /1119: English D, SPM: English Credit, UEC: English B
• Students who did not meet RU English Requirement are required to take a Concurrent English Programme (CELP)

International Student

• IELTS: 5.0
• TOEFL Essentials (Online): 7.5
• TOEFL iBT: 40
• PTE: 47
• MUET: Band 3.5
• Cambridge English / Linguaskill: 154
• Students who did not meet the English Requirement are required to take the RU English Preparation Programme (EPP) AND achieve the requirement of any equivalent English qualification.
