Program Overview

About the Program

This one-year certificate program not only allows you to explore and earn general education credits that can be applied to other programs, but it also includes a dynamic career-counselling component. This lets you to explore different fields, discover your passions and prepare for a career-specific postsecondary education.

GAP is also designed to help students who have been withdrawn from a program continue their education at Seneca Polytechnic. Some students may only need one semester to complete GAP. This program offers a second chance to start a new career pathway or, if available to you, return to your previous program, better prepared to succeed.

This program is offered online and is also available in person for students at Newnham Campus or Seneca@York. Students choosing in-person delivery at Newnham Campus or Seneca@York are required to come on campus.
